何かを創り出そうというタイプの人間には多かれ少なかれ、精神的な「欠損」があります。その欠損を埋めようとするところから、何かをクリエイトしたいという欲望や欲求が生まれてくることが多いのです。もちろんそれだけじゃないけど、そういうケースはしばしば見受けられます。問題はその欠損をどこまで「普遍的なもの」にまで高めていけるかということだと思うんです。中にはその欠損の欠損性にいつまでも拘泥しているという人もいます。それでは本当の芸術にはなりませんよね。そのためには、人はもっと広く世界を見なくてはなりません。
